Gallery - before & after |
At Cosmetic Dental Care we have treated many patients over
the years and below are some of the before and after shots of
dental procedures that we have had done on some of our patients. |
|
Gum
Lifts and Porcelain Veneers: patients
with high smiles are now able to have a gum lift
carried out to reduce the gumminess from their
smile. In combination with porcelain veneers,
fuller smile is able to be achieved. |

|
Bonding
- utilizing bleaching procedures these
teeth were initially lightened to the point where
the patient was happy with their base colour. After
bleaching, the discoloured fillings are replaced
and colour matched to create a brighter, more confident
smile. |

Strengthening
Weak, Tilled teeth - Due to decay and
refilling over the years, front teeth can become
weakened and discoloured and are at risk of
fracturing. Using all porcelain crowns, the
strength of the teeth is returned and their
appearance improved dramatically.

Straightening
and Lengthening Teeth - traditionally,
the only option for this patient would have been
braces. Modern day procedures enable us to use
porcelain veneers to straightening crowded teeth,
lengthen short teeth and improve self confidence
through a brighter, fuller smile. Two visits were
required for this amazing transformation. |

|
Smile Rejuvenation
- using a full range of dental technologies
and techniques, we can now create a totally
new smile. Closing spaces, brightening the colour
of the smile and replacing silver fillings are
all easy ways to create a new smile.

Replacing
Silver fillings - for many years, the
only filling material available was the silver
amalgam filling. Research has shown this weaknes
teeth in large areas and is not aesthetic. Current
technology has enabled us to replace the old silver
fillings with porcelain inlays that strengthen
the teeth ( to prevent fractures) and enables
the dentist to restore the natural appearance
of back teeth. |

|
Replacing Damaged Teeth
- this case shows a classic problem with
an over-filled tooth - regular history of chipping
and breaking, and finally there is no teeth left to
rebuild. Using crown and bridge work, the tooth is
simply removed, bridge is placed immediately, thus
rebuilding the discoloured and heavily filled adjacent
teeth. At the end of the three month healing period
(during which time the patient has "test driven"
their new smile), a permanent porcelain bridge is
constructed, creating the appearance that the missing
tooth is present and growing out of its natural gum.
